I'm pretty sure XM vs SF is one of those games that the Phoenix roms are the US version, however the other roms in the JP version aren't the same as the US ones so you have to do a full set reporgram to get it to work.I think anyways. Those are unmolested stickers on them chips, so i haven't removed and reapplied them. They come with the regular stickers, but you get the pictured chips underneath. I have used it on Win 7 圆4 to test the drivers out and they work fine for me. I have another small all in one machine that I use for all my programming needs so it's not an issue for me. There is a GPO settings to disable it but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work in 圆4 win 7.

SO you gotta do it every time you wanna use it. It does work with 圆4 however the driver isn't signed so you have to F8 on bootup and get some boot options and one is to disable driver signing requirements but that method only works for that boot.

I used to have one of the raw PCB programmers.not sure the brand I would program a 27c4002 chip and it would fail nearly every I just hit the program button again on the software I was using, like without playing around with it at all, it would go through the program and tell me it was programmed properly.Every time I had that issue with one of those chips and the same thing would happen it would work to just hit program again. Sneek, I had exactly the same issue as you over the years with Phoenix CPS2 boards.
